Description

Includes updating the Beckhoff TwinCAT 2 (TC2) logic application to a TwinCAT 3 (TC3) system application.

Also includes the migration and pre-deployment testing of the application. We will update the electrical drawings of the automation centre to include the TwinCAT change.

The IO range of the purchaser’s TC2 system may be about 200, or 10 IO modules.

Special terms of delivery

The IO range of the TC2 system may be about 200, or 10 IO modules. The supplier is not responsible for the functioning of or any defects in the original TC2 application. After the order has been placed, if the Supplier notices any defects in the TC2 application or obstacles to its delivery, leading to changes in or extra design work for the order, these will be separately invoiced. With separate invoicing, we can carry out IO testing and turnkey deployment of the application. The delivery does not include new Beckhoff hardware. We will deliver the ready-to-deploy application to the customer electronically. Buses, distributed IO and HMI/SCADA work will be separately invoiced.

Required specifications

  • A commented Beckhoff TwinCAT 2 application
  • Description of operation for the application
  • All TC2 libraries used in the TC2 application
  • Electrical drawings of the TwinCAT automation cabinet in DWG or PDF format
  • Acceptable languages for the TC2 application include ST, IL, FBD, LD, SFC, and CFC.
